Scott Rockenfield/Bio

I began playing drums at the age of 12. No lessons other than just wanting to explore my own playing by listening to bands such as KISS, RUSH, Van Halen, etc.

Besides just playing in some garage bands during my teen years, I started forming QUEENSRYCHE in 1980 with some of my friends from local high schools. In 1982 we released our first self titled 4 song EP that catapulted us into securing a 7 record deal with EMI/Capital. Even after 28 years we are still growing both musically and personally together.

I also began working on my film scoring career in the early 90's and I received my first ever Grammy Award nomination in 1998 for scoring a full length feature animated film titled "Televoid".

I have since gone on to work in film, television and multimedia. My most recent work is the orchestrated score for the up and coming release of the horror film titled "Albino Farm" set to be released sometime early 2009.
